Birthday cake, cereal milk soft serve, and compost cookies are home to the famous Milk Bar. Founded by James Beard award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi, the bakery opened its first store in New York City’s East Village. Recently, the brand updated its web typography using Garnett as the primary typeface. The chunkier black weight is used for headers that emphasizes the quirkiness of uppercase capitals, while the regular weight reads nicely for copy used for recipes and ingredients.
